2020 has been an interesting year! Maybe it’s been a “reset” for all of us in so many ways. Friendships, family, and relationships have become more of a focus. Pi Phi has always been a Sisterhood and a bond we have all shared throughout the years. Perhaps you’ve reached out to some of your sisters during this time and reconnected. I’ve certainly enjoyed catching up!
Unfortunately, Gourmet Soirée will be postponed for 2021. With the Covid restrictions, it’s too uncertain to plan something so big that usually occurs around February. It’s certainly a highlight and we’ll look forward to having it in the future.
Recruitment was done virtually. Can you imagine?! Headquarters had already been making changes for a lot of that process. Molly Shirley has continued to guide us during this process. We look forward to hearing about new San Antonio Angels.
Leslie Adcock is in the process of organizing our Programs for the upcoming year. We are still planning on our Christmas Tea at Mary Ellen Archer’s in December assuming restrictions are different. It will be a blessing to gather again. Stay tuned for those dates.
July 1 is the beginning of our fiscal year. You should have received a Dues Reminder card in the mail. You can also click here to pay your dues online. Your dues help make this Club a success. Without them we wouldn’t be able to do mailings, maintain our website, and continue to support our collegiate efforts. A significant portion is sent to Headquarters to maintain Pi Beta Phi. In addition, we continue to make annual contributions to our Pi Phi Philanthropies. Headquarters has recognized us as one of the top ten Clubs for philanthropic efforts!
